The Wiggles Competition

Terms and Conditions.

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the conditions of entry for this game of skill. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
  1. This promotion is presented and managed by Child Care NSW, Suite 50, 2 O’Connell Street, Parramatta NSW 2124  ABN 60 277 501 947  and conducted as part of Australian Child Care Week 2011.
  2. Child Care NSW will present the promotion in association with Child Care Queensland, Child Care Association of Victoria, Child Care Association of Western Australia and Child Care South Australia.
  3. Entry is open at 12.01am AEST on Monday 25th July closes at 5pm, Friday 9th September, 2011. All entries must be received before the end of this period.
  1. Entry is open to children who attend a child care centre within Australia.
  2. To enter the competition, eligible entrants must, complete the entry form including the answer in 25 words or less “why your child is happy at their child care centre” and send the entry form to Child Care Week Competition, PO Box H211 Hurlstone Park NSW 2193.
  3. Entries must be a printed form distributed to child care centres as part of the Australian Child Care Week; or downloaded from www.childcareweek.info. Photocopies of coupons are accepted.
  4. Only one entry per child is permitted.
  5. Child Care NSW will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry not made in accordance with these terms and conditions. Incomplete entry forms will be ineligible for winner selection by the judges.
  1. All entries will be judged based on the creativity and accuracy of the answer to the question by a panel of judges selected by Child Care NSW.
  2. Child care centres that receive the most unique responses, as judged by the judging panel, will receive an ‘Outstanding Centre Certificate’. There will be no set number of certificates presented. Certificates will be posted on 26th September 2011.
  3. There will be two prizes selected and announced from this promotion.
  4. The first prize is a children’s prize. The selection of the winner is based on the child that provides the most creative and engaging response. The prize consists of one family pass to the Wiggles in Concert and a meet and greet with The Wiggles in the prize winner’s home state. The Children’s prize winner will be notified by telephone prior to 3rd October, 2011.
  5. The winner of the children’s prize is responsible for any and all expenses relating to attending the concert and meet and greet including, without limitation, travel, accommodation, ground transportation, meals, souvenirs, insurance, all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with the prize acceptance and use.
  6. It is at the discretion of The Wiggles to select the date and time for the concert and the meet and greet.
  7. The second prize is a child care centre prize. The selection of the winner is based on the centre that receives the most unique responses. The prize consists of $500 worth of Wiggle and Learn educational resources for their centre. The Centre Prize winner will be announced at the Australian Child Care Week Celebration Evening on Saturday 22nd October, 2011 at The Westin Sydney.
  8. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. The Wiggles Pty Ltd and their companies have no association with the management of this competition.
  10. The prizes cannot be exchanged,transferred or redeemed for cash.
  11. All entries become the property of Child Care NSW.
  12. Child Care NSW accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
  13. Child Care NSW and The Wiggles Pty Ltd and any of its employees, contractors and agents or employees of their contractors, agents, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Child Care NSW shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with telecommunications services.
